The Scientology Volunteer Ministers African Goodwill Tour provided seminars to educators and nonprofit organizations in Ashaiman, a city just outside Accra, in Ghana.

Nearly 500 teachers and students attended 12 workshops on the technology of study, developed by L. Ron Hubbard and contained in the Scientology Handbook. The Goodwill Tour gave these seminars and workshops at various schools, Regent University, the Presbyterian Church in Tema, and the Mosque of Ashaiman.

A special graduation for these students featured speeches by a local member of parliament and a national MP for the region, who thanked the Scientology Volunteer Ministers and recognized the importance of the seminars they gave. Both MPs commented on how this technology can help the community accomplish its goals, and invited the Scientology Volunteer Ministers to continue their work.

The Volunteer Ministers have also trained a corps of local residents, who will carry on their work after the Goodwill Tour moves on.
